Verify named insured and policy number in the AMS

Pull the dec page and all prior endorsements

Confirm the policy is active and current on premium

Review open claims and current loss runs

Capture the requested change in writing

Verify requestor authority on the account

OFAC-screen new named and additional insureds

Confirm the change fits carrier bind authority

Refer out-of-authority changes to the underwriter

Rate the endorsement in the policy system

Confirm whether the policy is admitted or surplus lines

File the endorsement with the state stamping office

Communicate the AP or RP to the insured

Issue the endorsement in the policy admin system

Generate the updated dec page and endorsement form

Reissue ACORD 25 COIs to certificate holders

Archive the prior policy version per retention schedule

Send the endorsement package for signature

Obtain signed acceptance from the insured

Close out the endorsement request in the AMS
