You can now associate a Slack channel with a checklist.

Within the Slack channel, you can work on your Manifestly checklists. Also, all updates to the checklist - completed steps and late notifications - will be sent to the Slack channel. Slack channel updates

How to set it up

When editing a checklist template, you can set a Slack channel to recieve all updates when people work on that checklist
