Court Submission Checklist
Document Formatting

Verify page numbering is correct and consistent throughout the document.

Content Review
Review the accuracy of all facts and figures presented in the documents.
Ensure that all legal arguments are well-supported by evidence and legal precedents.
Cross-reference all citations to ensure they are correct and complete.
Attachment and Exhibits
Confirm that all required attachments and exhibits are included and properly labeled.
Check that the list of attachments/exhibits matches the documents that are actually attached.
Ensure that any confidential information in attachments is redacted as necessary.
Signature and Verification
Verify that the document has been signed by the authorized attorney or representative.
Ensure that all signatures are original where required, or that electronic signatures meet the court's standards.
Confirm that any required verification or sworn statement sections are duly completed.
Compliance with Procedural Rules
Check that the document complies with all local, state, and federal procedural rules.
Ensure that the submission is timely according to the relevant statutes or court rules.
Verify that the filing fee, if any, has been calculated correctly and is enclosed or has been paid.
Final Review and Copies
Conduct a final review of the entire submission package for typographical and grammatical errors.
Make the required number of copies for the court, opposing counsel, and for your records.
Assemble the submission package in the order required by the court, with any bluebacks or cover sheets as necessary.
