Draft the notice of appeal in accordance with the court rules
Prepare the appellate brief, ensuring compliance with formatting and content requirements
Assemble the appellate record, including transcripts and relevant documents
Filing and Service
File the notice of appeal with the appropriate appellate court
Serve the notice of appeal upon all parties to the original case
Submit the required number of brief copies and the record to the court
Post-Filing Procedures
Confirm the briefing schedule with the appellate court
Monitor the docket for any motions or orders from the court
Prepare for oral argument, if applicable

Calculate and pay the filing and other court fees
