Exit Interview Checklist
Employee Responsibilities
Return all company property including ID badges, keys, and electronic devices.
Complete final timesheet and ensure all hours worked are logged.
Submit any outstanding expense reports for reimbursement.
Provide contact information for future correspondence if necessary.
Complete any pending assignments or projects, or ensure proper handover.
Human Resources Procedures
Conduct an exit interview to gather feedback on the employee's experience.
Review and finalize any remaining compensation, including bonuses and unused leave.
Ensure that all benefits, such as health insurance, are properly terminated.
Collect any feedback forms or surveys completed by the employee.
Update employee records to reflect their departure from the company.
IT and Security Measures
Disable employee access to company systems and applications.
Retrieve all technology assets such as laptops, phones, and tablets.
Change passwords for shared accounts if the employee had access.
Remove employee email accounts or set up forwarding if needed.
Ensure that all company data is removed from personal devices.
Departmental Handover
