Restaurant Bathroom Cleaning Checklist
Daily Cleaning Tasks
Check and refill soap dispensers.
Check and refill paper towel dispensers or replace hand dryer filters.
Clean and disinfect all surfaces, including countertops, sinks, and faucets.
Toilet Area Maintenance
Scrub and disinfect toilets and urinals inside and out, paying special attention to toilet seats and handles.
Mop and disinfect the floors, especially around the toilets.
Check for and remove any graffiti or stickers on stall doors and walls.
Mirror and Door Maintenance
Clean mirrors with glass cleaner to remove spots and splashes.
Wipe down doors, doorknobs, and light switches with disinfectant.
Ensure that the doors lock properly and report any malfunctions.
Trash and Restocking
Empty trash bins, replace liners, and dispose of trash properly.
Restock toilet paper, hand towels, seat covers, and feminine hygiene products.
Inspect and clear any blockages in sanitary disposal units.
Floor Care
Sweep the floor to remove any debris.
Mop the floor with disinfectant cleaner, paying close attention to corners and edges.
Place wet floor signs after mopping until the floor is completely dry.
Air Quality and General Maintenance
Check that air fresheners are functional and refill if necessary.
Report any issues with lighting or ventilation for proper maintenance.
Regularly inspect for signs of mold or mildew and treat as needed.
